Prithviraj signed up his new movie

Director Mohanan, who had directed the superhit 'Katha Parayumbol' is back in showbiz. He has signed up none other than dashing young star Prithviraj for his new film.

The film would tell the tale of a small village in Kerala. Prithviraj plays Mohanachandran, a young teacher who gets appointed in a local school. The film would dwell on the happenings in the village that follow the teacher's arrival. 

Mohanan would script the film himself. It should be remembered that 'Katha Parayumbol' was scripted by his brother in law, Sreenivasan.

The heroine of the film has not been decided as yet. Innocent and Salim Kumar would also appear in key roles.

Indrajith in 'PSC Balan'

Indrajith signed up with new film titled 'PSC balan'.Director Syed Usman would direct this film, that would have Indrajith playing a young man who is obsessed with writing PSC examinations. The film would deal with hilarious incidents that occur when Balan gets all set to write his hundredth PSC exam.

Jagathy, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Cochin Haneefa, Indrans, Maamukkoya, Machan Varghese and several other actors would be part of the supporting cast.

Under the banner of God's Eye Creations,Aneesh Kumar and Mithu Satya would jointly produce 'PSC Balan'.

Kanika's next film with Megastar Mammotty

After a enchating performance with Mammotty in 'Pazhasiraja'.In 'Pazhasiraja' she played an excellent role of Kaitheri Makkam. Kanika will once again feature herself as the heroine to Mammotty in the new movie ‘Drona’.

Drona to be directed by Shaji Kailas ,the movie will also have Swetha Vijay as one of the heroines. Swetha is presently debuting into Mollywood with Suresh Gopi in the Shai Paravoor movie ‘Kadaksham’ which is on the sets.

The movie is produced by Aroma and will start its shoot on 4th of this month in Ottapalam.A K Sajan is in charge of the scripting department of the movie which will also feature Thilakan and Manoj K Jayan in prominent roles. Megastar Mammotty will join the sets of this movie, after completing his part in the big Christmas release ‘Chattambinaadu’.

Thrisa impressed Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar, it turns out, wasn’t wrong in putting his trust in director Priyadarshan for casting an appropriate leading lady opposite him in his new film Khatta Meetha. The superstar may have had his doubts when Priyadarshan roped in the south star Trisha Krishnan, but all the apprehensions were laid to rest on the movie’s sets.

Like a true professional Trisha hadn’t hid the fact from both Priyadarshan and Akki that she isn’t very fluent in Hindi, though she studied the language in her school. But when the movie’s shoot began in a village a 100 kilometres away from Pune, Trisha took everyone by surprise.

“Trisha is turning out to be the surprise package. Before the shoot, she had informed us that she couldn’t converse in Hindi…But she took all of us by surprise when she spoke fluently in Hindi. I could see the smile on Akki’s face as he was delighted with her performance,” Priyadarshan said.

Priyan went on to reveal that Trisha has a pivotal role in the film. She plays two characters in different time periods. The director also clarifies that it’s not a double role, but he promises that Trisha will get more footage in ‘Khatta Meetha’ than any actress has got in his previous films.
